We are delighted to welcome Triathletes from across the UK off all abilities to this beautiful part of Scotland. We understand there are many of you that have questions floating probably before you have pressed the ENTER HERE button. We are here to make your experience smooth and enjoyable starting from the day you decide to be an ABERFELDY RACER.

We have teamed up with our coaching partner TriathlonworkX to bring you a course familiarisation day which is open for anyone who has already signed up to compete in the Aberfeldy Middle Distance Triathlon or thinking about it and maybe needs that little bit more encouragement, this is the day for you.

The aim of this event is to highlight some of the logistics, and show you the routes. Our Triathlonworkx coaches will be on hand to give coaching tips and advice on getting to start line and over that Finish Line. There will be an Opportunity to swim some of the course with safety cover on Loch. You will be to familiarise yourselves with the Bike and Run routes by riding the course at a easy pace. It is not a race practice! We will aim to have similar ability groups and these groups will go at the pace of the slowest member. Helmets are obviously mandatory on the cycle. There will be an optional review of the run course afterwards.

The event will also give you the opportunity to meet a number of experienced Triathletes from the Triathlonworkx and The Event team who will be able to give advice and guidance if you wish, it’s a great opportunity to get some sound advice and help with any pre-race questions and allay any nerves.
It’s also a great way to meet other entrants and many of the Event Team who will be there on race day, making the big day a less daunting experience with more familiar faces around.
