Sunshine and Sweat! A photo recap of the 2025 Aberfeldy Middle Distance Triathlon

Wall to wall sunshine and not a cloud in the sky…something that we often joke that we have ordered here at Aberfeldy Triathlon but we must admit rarely transpires. The weather gods finally got the order this year as we couldn’t have wished for better weather. Admittedly it made sighting in the swim a little tricky and the run was pretty hot, but sunshine always makes everything feel better, does it not?

Around 400 athletes this year took on the 1.9km swim, the 90km bike ride and 21.1km run to emerge victorious at Wades Field in Aberfeldy in the sunshine.

Dawn over Loch Tay

As dawn broke, we could see just how calm it was across Loch Tay. The water temperature was an unusual 17.4 degrees!

Onto the bike for the 90km around Schiehallion and some of the hill climbs that test your mettle.
