Winners of the Scottish Sports Award for Innovation and Sustainability Award 2023!

If you follow us on social media, you will already know that we won the Scottish Sports Award for Sustainability back in December 2023! We were absolutely shocked but also delighted that we won!

Aberfeldy Multi-Sport Festival’s Event Director, Richard Pearson, travelled down to Glasgow to the star-studded awards ceremony that also saw Beth Potter pick up an award for Moment of the Year for winning the Triathlon World Championship.

Richard picked up the award from Dame Louise Martin, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation.

Thanks to Triathlon Scotland for all their support with the award. Their article on our efforts to be sustainable was helpful to the cause and explains what we have been doing to be sustainable. We really do appreciate that we live in a beautiful country and that we would like to keep it that way.

We are continuing our efforts to being more sustainable this year too. We will put in place many of the initiatives we have previously used and look for other ways to improve on last year’s efforts.
